EIZO set to release 4K monitor, designed specifically for photographers, early next month



Display manufacturer, EIZO, will soon release its latest model, the ColorEdge CG248–4K, which packs in 4K native resolution and 185PPI pixel density, the highest ever in an EIZO monitor.

Designed specifically for photographers and videographers, the ColorEdge CG248–4K features a 23.8-inch screen with 4K (3840 x 2160) native resolution, equating to 185 pixels per inch (for comparison, Apple’s 27” Retina 5K iMac has 218 PPI). The screen is lit by an LED-backlit IPS (in-plane switching) panel, which ensures even light from the edges…
