WhiteAlbum iOS app brings the disposable camera into the digital realm

 

 

‘No edits. No retakes.’ That’s the motto of WhiteAlbum, a new photographic app and service for iOS. Based on the age-old disposable camera, WhiteAlbum lets you capture 24 photographs. The only catch is, once you take them, you don’t see them again until all 24 of them are printed and shipped to your doorstep.

The app works similarly to other photo apps, with the basic viewfinder, optional grid and flash controls. The main difference in WhiteAlbum is the purposely restricted 1×1 format, which can be captured as a square or circle…
